BAND ON THE RUN! Come join the Kingwood Mighty Mustang Military Band (KM4B) on Saturday April 8, 2017, 8:00 a.m. for our annual 5K /10K through the greenbelts of Kingwood, the livable forest.  Band On The Run is a USTAF certified race.  KM4B is a military style marching band with over 200 student members who perform all over the USA including at The Rose Bowl Parade, Pearl Harbor and in the Spring 2017 at Carnegie Hall, NYC. All proceeds from the race support the band by funding new instruments, equipment, music, clinicians etc., items not covered by the school district's budget.  Register HERE!   Interested in Sponsoring?

Please note:  Free race t-shirts will be given to all participants that sign up before March 25th, 2017.  After that date we can't guarantee that a shirt will be available.

Volunteer Hours - In an attempt to show KHS that the band dominates (and to help KHS receive grant money) I want to remind you to use the link below and log any volunteer hours you have given to the band and have not recorded at KHS front desk.  That would include bus chaperones, concessions and committee chair prep time. It literally takes 2 minutes and you don’t need to list specific dates.  It will ask you the hours for each month. Please take time to do this!!!! Here is the link:

A BIG THANKS! to Julie Crump and Joan Reynolds for sharing their photography talents.
